Write the pickup state before you talk permits. West Memphis is Arkansas. Memphis, Tennessee is TDOT. Southaven is Mississippi. One metro does not merge three permit offices. Match legal name, USDOT, and MC on the rate con to Licensing & Insurance first.

Arkansas permits and credentials

Arkansas permits are ARDOT. Interstate authority does not include a blanket AR overweight.

Arkansas IRP/IFTA is a DFA credential. Read L&I for the federal filing.

Ask which legal entity holds the ARDOT permit. If it is a different LLC than the rate con, you do not have a carrier. Screenshot the permit with the load file. A verbal we are permitted in Arkansas is not the portal.
